Freedom10

The NEW
F10 ShoeBox
20% FASTER FILL SPEED

***NOW ON SALE***

Introducing the new 3rd generation Shoebox the F10! Now 20% faster fill speeds (over the retired F8 model)  by increasing the RPM’s and adding 400% more air flow cooling. New Automatic Oiling System allows for up to 10+ hour runs between lubrication. Same reliability you have come to trust after thousands of units sold and still made in the USA!! New gear ratio produces 10 cubic feet of air at 4500 psi per hour over 8 cubic feet for the old Freedom8.

Super cooling with NEW larger 100 CFM fan for super cooling (old one was 20 cfm)

Automatic oiling system gets 10+ hours between refills.

For PCP air rifle enthusiasts no more pumping! Tops off most guns in less than 10 minutes! Paintball players, fill a large tank during the week and have your own air fills all weekend. For industrial testing where high pressure low volume is needed the F10 is smallest and least expensive high pressure compressor on the market. Battlebots with carbon fiber tanks, keep your warrior topped off with your own compressor!

Attach your shop compressor feeding 125 psi to the ShoeBox Freedom 10 and you are good to go.  Why do we use a shop compressor? Because most of the water condenses out in the shop compressor tank. It acts like a water filter saving you more money. Want really dry air? Add a desiccant filter between the shop compressor and the ShoeBox which is much less expensive than a high pressure filter on the output.

Now comes with made in USA GATES BELTS

The F10 comes with a Foster male fitting output. You will need a high pressure hose with the fitting of your choice to fit your tank or airgun, and a female Foster to fit the ShoeBox. We recommend a pressure gauge in the hose. The F10 can also compress non-flammable gasses such as nitrogen, xenon and argon.

The ShoeBox Freedom10 Air Compressor requires an external input of 125 psi from a typical shop air compressor. We recommend one of the inexpensive oil free compressors available everywhere. This takes the place of the first stage in compression and allows us to produce the ShoeBox at a breakthrough low price.

How It Works

The air compressor has two pistons. They are very small by air compressor standards. The upper cylinder is 1/4 inch, the lower 1/8th inch in diameter. The small pistons allow us to use a small 1/3 hp, 110 volt, ac motor to achieve high pressure, but limits the speed at which you can fill a tank.

The ShoeBox Air Compressor is driven by a quiet belt drive system. A lever mechanism senses the pressure in the pistons and shuts off the compressor when the tank is full. The cutoff pressure is adjustable approximately 400-4500 psi .  Factory setting is 4500 psi. Most parts are user serviceable.

It's user servicable

The compressors wear parts are simple o-rings, plastic sleeves (delrin spacers) and bronze bushings. The unit can be completely rebuilt with common hand tools. See the Exploded View Diagram or our rebuild videos on the Support page.

What you need in addition to the ShoeBox

The ShoeBox Freedom10 needs a supply of compressed air fed into it for normal operation. You will need an oil free shop air compressor capable of 125 psi and about 3 cubic foot per minute output. Virtually all small compressors with a tank can do this. See shop compressor examples on our Support page.  You will also need to supply a hose from the male output fitting on the ShoeBox to the tank your filling. We do not supply the hose due to the large variety of tanks and fittings but you can find suppliers on our Links page.
